We are in the midst of the “Holiday Season.”  I hear that on TV, the radio.  Read about it on every type of ad imaginable this time of year.  What does “Holiday Season” mean to you?

Are they about family get togethers, religious services or maybe that the cool present you hope to get?  Are they about good will and cheer?  This time or year is more often then not associated with stress and pressure. Did you ever really look at a person’s face as they search for a good parking space at the mall?  The frustration.  The concentration.  You’d think they were looking buried treasure.

I think we forget why we have holidays.  It is to celebrate something.  So I recommed we rotate a new song into the holiday playlist, “Holiday,” by Madonna.

If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
It would be, it would be so nice

Everybody spread the word
We’re gonna have a celebration
All across the world
In every nation
It’s time for the good times
Forget about the bad times, oh yeah
One day to come together
To release the pressure
We need a holiday

You can turn this world around
And bring back all of those happy days
Put your troubles down
It’s time to celebrate
Let love shine
And we will find
A way to come together
And make things better
We need a holiday

Holiday Celebrate
Holiday Celebrate

So whatever holiday you will be celebrating in the next few weeks remember to release the pressure and celebrate.
